Detailed description of Saginaw Country Club
Saginaw Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Saginaw, Michigan.
Saginaw Country Club first opened for play in 1898. The course was designed by Tom Bendelow.
This is the oldest course in Saginaw, and one of the oldest in Michigan. The course was built on hilly terrain and features beautiful, mature trees lining its fairways. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on some holes.
Blue tees: par- 72, 6,143 yards, 69.5 / 124
White tees: par-72, 5,563 yards, 66.8 / 120(M), 72.5 / 124(W)
Gold tees: par-72, 4,980 yards, 63.4 / 110(M), 69.0/ 123(w)

My friend Tim (Member) wondered why I didn't write about our outing in 2009 on his course.
I retrieved the old scorecard, these are my notes: Traditional old style Country Club course at 6,149 yds / 122 / Par 71 with "Side by Side" tree-lined fairways. Ended up shooting 45/40 w/ 38putts in a 4.5hr relaxed afternoon. Greens are on the average small side that are rolling at 8-9 and very true with well kept sand traps giving room to miss a little and still get up & down. Had to look very hard to find a ball mark on the greens and divots in the fairways that were not repaired. Treated with respect from arrival to departure which didn't surprise me for a 100 year old Club that is still keeping the golfing "Tradition" roots alive.
Would guess this would be in the $60 - $80 range for a weekday outing. The course was proof that if you treat your golfers with respect, they'll treat your course with respect.
Maybe I'll be able to return this summer for another outing. (Hint)
